PRESCHOOL ACTIVITIES

FOCUS PLAYGROUPS

A relaxed, friendly community playgroup for caregivers and preschool children from 18 months of age.  We provide a number of activities: music & movement, art & craft and a variety of educational toys. Join us for morning tea and meet some new people in your area. Caregivers are required to help with setting and cleaning up, and cater once a term for morning tea.  Number restrictions may apply, so please come along with your child(ren) and register your interest in joining a weekly playgroup.

MUSIC AND MOVEMENT

            Songs and musical playtime for the under 5’s. Great way to meet other DADS, mums and children at an informal and friendly activity on a casual basis and celebrate the end of each term with a Tiny Tots Tea Party following the last session of each term on the last Thursday at 10.30am.  No bookings necessary just come along (See Tiny Tots Tea Parties).

TINY TOTS TEA PARTIES

ONCE A TERM we have a cup & saucer tea party plus a time of singing for pre-schoolers.  This follows the Music & Movement session but all pre-schoolers and parents are welcome.  Hosted by Rev. Pauline Stewart.

EASTERN BAYS TOY LIBRARY

A wide range of toys and activities for loan to families with preschool children.

Day/Time                      Mon, Tues, Weds – 9.00 -11.00am

Saturdays 9.00 -12.00noon

VIOLIN FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS

Start your pre-schoolers learning the violin.  Recommended age late ‘3s’ and 4 year olds.  Learn the basic skills of music and violin playing in a fun-filled atmosphere.

Day/Time        Mondays days during term – 1- 3pm

Cost                $35 per 30 minute lesson, $17.50 per 15 minute lesson

SMALL MIRACLES PRESCHOOL

Regular sessional care following NZ Curriculum of Early Childhood Te Whariki.
