CHILDREN and YOUTH ACTIVITIES

CHILDREN & YOUTH
See Sunday at St Heliers Church a Great Kids Friendly Morning.
YOUTH/CHILDREN: Our Philosophy
Youth: The church and Community Centre values its young people very highly. We are committed to providing a safe, fun place whilst at the same time developing leadership and a sense of community responsibility.
Christian principles are the basis of all activities and of all relationships.
There are opportunities for learning drama, music, being in a band, leading at camps, joining a group of thoughtful caring young people,
Youth are not isolated but part of a larger network of all ages.
Youth are encouraged to have a say in what happens and in the future of the Church and Community Centre.
Children: We are a Kids Friendly Church and Community Centre. Children are contributors and taken seriously as bringers of hope and spontaneity. We take very seriously opportunities to develop their creativity and give them ways to lead.
Small Miracles is an outstanding pre-school and Oscar (after school care) has a very warm family atmosphere.
Please see Kids Club, Tea Party Church, and Godzone. Children and babies are very welcome in church also.
Subsidies: For all youth and children– there is a policy to provide subsidies or scholarships for the activities during holiday programmes and some school term classes run at the Centre. All are considered through personal enquiry. (See Holiday programmes)
